Letter from Chief Statistician to Registrar General - August 2023

In August 2023 Alistair McAlpine (Chief Statistician for Scotland) wrote to Registrar General Dr Janet Egdell. This letter confirms that the Chief Statistician is satisfied that census outputs will provide the robust population statistics to support the wider statistical system and that analysts and the general public can have confidence in the outputs.
