Terms and Conditions to access Scotland’s Census 2022 Flexible Table Builder as a guest user

As a Scotland’s Census 2022 Flexible Table Builder guest user I will:

  1. not attempt to identify any particular persons, households, or organisations to which the data relates to;
  2. not misuse or exploit information in a way that could cause potential harm to an individual;
  3. report immediately to NRS any possible data disclosures that may have occurred through use of the site;
  4. use all data outputs from the systems in accordance with the terms and conditions of the  Open Government Licence. This includes the copying, publishing, distribution and transmission of data for future data use and attributing any work to NRS and not in a way that suggest it is my own work; 
  5. where applicable, adhere to all NRS directions and system constraints.

I acknowledge that: 

  1. my use of NRS systems may be monitored and audited;
  2. my use of the system could be suspended or terminated where I am identified as being in breach of these terms and conditions. This could be for a set period of time or indefinite depending on the circumstances of the case;
  3. whilst NRS has taken great care to ensure that the information provided within NRS systems is as correct and accurate as possible, NRS does not guarantee, or accept any legal liability arising from, or connected to, the use of any material contained within, or derived from these systems.
